A lakeshore flood advisory was lifted Saturday morning, after a night of massive waves on Lake Michigan.
A section of Lake Shore Drive was shut down Friday afternoon, after more than 20-foot waves flooded the northbound lanes. At one point, southbound traffic was stopped too.
The water began to recede Friday night.
Winds were more than 70 miles-per-hour at the lakefront Friday night.
Navy Pier cancelled its haunted barge, when it started to sink. A masquerade ball was also called off, and boat cruises were cancelled for the night.
