PANMUNJOM, DMZ - Ministers for both North and South Korea are reportedly meeting for "truce" talks this morning.
The two sides agree to meet at the "truce village" of Panmunjom inside the DMZ.
The announcement came after 48 hours of threats and counterthreats.
The recent escalation can be tracked back to August 4, when two South Korean soldiers were seriouslly injured by landmines in the DMZ. South Korea believes that North Korea planted them. North Korea has denied responsibility.
