WASHINGTON — There are new indications that Vice President Joe Biden could throw his hat into the presidential race.

CNN, citing two people familiar with the event, reported that Biden held a private meeting with Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren in Washington Saturday.

Warren is extremely popular among liberal Democrats, and she has yet to formally endorse any candidate.

The meeting is the strongest indication so far that Biden is feeling out influential Democrats before he decides if he’ll join the race.

Biden has told his associates he expects to make the decision in the next month.
