CHICAGO – Jesse Jackson Jr. could be heading home Monday to spend the last three months of his prison term on home detention.
Jackson entered prison in October, 2013. He was convicted of spending about $750,000 in campaign funds, on things like vacations, furs, and other personal expenses.
Jackson has been at a Baltimore halfway house since March 26.
His wife and former Chicago Alderman, Sandi, will spend one year in prison when Jackson’s sentence is over.
She was convicted for failing to report income on tax returns.
