INDIANAPOLIS — Some churches light incense, but a new church in Indianapolis will be lighting up joints.
The First Church of Cannabis, a marijuana-based religious group, will have its opening service next month.
That’s when Indiana’s new religious freedom law goes into effect.
The law protects the use of marijuana for religious ceremonies.
The church’s founder says the service will be about more than just smoking pot.
The congregation will discuss seven topics: ‘live, love laugh, learn, create, grow, teach.”
