INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb was released from the hospital and is resting at home after he was admitted following a pneumonia diagnosis, his press secretary announced Saturday.

On Friday, his press secretary, Erin Murphy, said he went to the doctor on Thursday afternoon because he thought he had the flu, but was diagnosed with pneumonia.

Holcomb was admitted to the hospital “out of an abundance of caution” and is “responding well to treatment,” she said.

Additional details weren’t released.
