There may be no charges in the deadly crash that killed a man on his wedding day.

William Riley Knight and his new bride had just left their wedding reception late Saturday night in Crown Point, when they noticed a stranded driver.

Knight pulled over to help Linda Darlington whose car was stuck in a ditch.

As Darlington and Knight tried to cross 109th Avenue near Lane Street, they were struck by three cars.

Both died at the scene.

Friends of the couple say Knight’s wife is devastated to become a widow just hours after saying her vows.

All the drivers remained on the scene after the crash.

Alcohol does not appear to be a factor.

No charges are expected.
