Hinsdale Middle School students returned to class today after their school was scrubbed down for mold.
It took several weeks, because while fixing the mold problem, workers found asbestos in the walls which also had to be removed.
On Monday state officials gave the building a clean bill of health.
An open house Monday night allowed parents a chance to see the work for themselves.
The students had been attending classes at another school in Clarendon Hills temporarily.
