High school football player pauses game to shake veterans’ hands

BOSSIER CITY, La. -- A high school football player in Louisiana took a moment in the middle of a Friday night game to honor some veterans in attendance.

A few pictures posted by the local sheriff's office show a group of veterans watching a recent game from the sidelines.

Before the second half started, Chase Hill, a junior at Parkway High School, ran over and shook the hands of the entire line of vets.
