CHICAGO -- The heavy rain and wind caused some damage throughout Chicago.

A lot of trees were knocked down, including one near 43rd and LaSalle which prevented a CTA bus from getting by.

Chicago streets and sanitation crews were out overnight removing downed trees, like this one at Springfield and Lawrence.

We also found a car driving through a flooded viaduct at 63rd and State Street.

ComEd is reporting scattered power outages throughout the Chicago area, but no big pockets.
