CHICAGO — Previews started Tuesday night in Chicago for the Broadway smash musical ‘Hamilton’ and the timing couldn’t be better.

A new block of tickets went on sale today so the show is going to be here for at least a year.

The tickets will be available at The PrivateBank Theatre Box Office, the Broadway In Chicago Ticket Line (800-775-2000) and online at www.BroadwayInChicago.com.  The PrivateBank Theatre Box Office will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

There is a six ticket maximum purchase ranging from $65 – $180. Premium seats will cost more.

A day-of-show lottery for a handful of tickets begins today, as well. From that drawing, 44 tickets will be sold for every performance for $10 each. Locations in the theater will vary per performance — some seats will be located in the front rows and the boxes. For more information on the lottery, go to: BroadwayInChicago.com/HamiltonLottery

Preview performances also begin today at The PrivateBank Theatre, 18 W. Monroe, in Chicago.
