Along the south end of the CTA Red Line it didn’t take long to spot the men and women in red..

This Sunday, the Guardian Angels watched over the 55th Street/Garfield Blvd. station, handing out flyers with the photos of the four guys they’ve dubbed the b-ball bandits.

They're wanted for robbing and beating a man who gave them 5 bucks when one of them asked for a donation to a basketball team.

The attack happened December 7th between 47th street and 55th, just one stop that changed the victim’s perspective on giving.

The Guardian Angels say never show cash and never show valuables on public transit.   For now they’ll settle for giving out advice and getting the b-ball bandits, who showed their game faces to the security camera.
