CHICAGO — After a string of early-morning robberies on the CTA Red Line, the Guardian Angels are hoping flyers can help lead to arrests.

The group is passing out alerts in Lincoln Park that feature photos of four suspects.

Police said the foursome boarded a northbound CTA train at the Clybourn stop about 1 a.m. Friday and robbed multiple people before exiting one stop later, at Fullerton. CTA surveillance cameras captured the attacks. Police released stills.

On Saturday morning, the Guardian Angels handed out flyers in Lincoln Park before riding CTA trains and talking to passengers on platforms. The group hopes to educate passengers. Members said they were struck by the brazenness of the crime spree.
