CHICAGO — The ground stop issued for American Airlines flights in Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth and Miami has been lifted.

WGN received the following statement from American Airlines:

“We have resolved connectivity issues that led to a ground stop today at our Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth and Miami hubs. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working to get our customers on their way as soon as possible.”

An AA spokesperson told WGN the technical issues started at 11 a.m., and the ground stop lasted for about an hour and a half.

While AA computers are coming back online now, passengers should expect delays.
