Woman, 21, on bicycle hit by car in Evanston

A 21-year-old woman was hit by a car while riding her bicycle in Evanston.

It happened around 11 p.m. Wednesday near campus, at the intersection of Sheridan and Chicago.

The car’s windshield broke and we’re hearing the car did stop after the accident.

The woman was taken to the hospital in serious condition and has a broken leg.
