Frontier Airlines’ Ice Bucket Challenge: One-day sale with some money donated to ALS

Frontier Airlines is putting its own twist on the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.

For one day only, the airline is selling tickets starting as low as $32. The airline says $3 per ticket purchased will be donated to the ALS Association.

This is the same group associated with the viral ice bucket challenges going viral on on social media across the globe.

Discounts apply to one-way fares for travel on select dates in September, October and November 2014. Tickets must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. Tuesday.

The company said seats are limited at these fares and certain flights may be unavailable. A round-trip ticket purchase is not required.

Previously purchased tickets may not be exchanged for these special fare tickets, the company said.

The sale includes 26 cities: Atlanta, GA; Austin, TX; Chicago-O’Hare, IL; Cleveland, OH; Denver, CO; Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood, FL; Fort Myers, FL; Indianpolis, IN; Las Vegas, NV; Los Angeles, CA; Milawukee, WI; Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN; Nashville, TN; Oklahoma City, OK; Orange County/Santa Ana, CA; Orlando, FL; Phoenix, AZ; Salt Lake City, UT; San Diego, CA; San Francisco, CA; St. Louis, MO; St. Augustine/Jacksonville, FL; Tampa, FL; Trenton/Princeton, NJ; Washington-Dulles, DC; Wilmington/Philadelphia, DE.
