The CTA says it hopes to reopen its Blue Line O’Hare terminal this weekend, when the wreckage of this week’s train crash is cleared away.

A fourth lawsuit over the derailment has now been filed. While no one was killed, 32 passengers are still nursing injuries from the accident.

Work crews are cutting the train apart, piece by piece, to make it easier to remove.

Investigators have already learned the train’s operator had a problem staying awake.

The operator is on injury leave.

Looking ahead, the approach speeds at the O’Hare terminal will be reduced and signals will activate earlier as each train arrives, to prevent a repeat of this week’s accident.
