CHICAGO -- A former standout athlete was shot and killed in the city’s North Lawndale neighborhood.
It happened around 1:30 p.m. Monday at a convenience store in the 4100 block of West Roosevelt.
26-year-old Jonathan Mills, a former standout basketball player, was pronounced dead at the scene.
