A man from south suburban Ford Heights is charged with making threats to kill police officers.

Police say they arrested 33-year-old Aries Woodfin, a convicted felon who resided in Chicago and Ford Heights.

Police say Woodfin threatened to kill police officers as well as white children on his Facebook page.

Police discovered a 45 caliber handgun, more than 100 live rounds and a makeshift shooting range in his basement.
