Fire damages Grandma Sally’s in Naperville

A fire destroyed a popular Naperville restaurant overnight.

Officials say it started around 3:00 am, Friday at Grandma Sally’s Family Restaurant.

It was fully engulfed in flames when nearly 50 firefighters arrived at the scene.

They’re calling it a total loss.

Some firefighters were treated for minor injuries and authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.

The “Grandma Sally’s” in Glen Ellyn on Roosevelt Road also caught fire several years ago, and remains closed.
