SCHILLER PARK, Ill. — No one was injured after a fire broke out at a suburban cemetery Wednesday afternoon.

Fire crews responded to a fire at the chapel of a cemetery in Schiller Park, Ill., near 25th Street and Irving Park Road around 4 p.m.

Everyone inside the building got out safely, but the fire caused a lot of damage. Most of the damage was on the second floor, which contained mostly offices.

The building contained more than 130 years worth of records, which fire officials tried to save.

Fire crews have not determined a cause.

The fire forced crews to shut down a stretch of Irving Park Road in front of the cemetery.
