CHICAGO – With the popularity of the newest “Star Wars” movie, it’s pretty clear we love sci-fi. “Star Wars,” “The Martian,”  and “Interstellar  are ust a few of the latest movies using the cosmos as the main attraction. But how much of our favorite flicks is science fiction or science fact?

Over the next three months the folks at Adler Planetarium are taking a closer look at some popular sci-fi to answer fans’ burning questions.

The planetarium will be screening “Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan,” “Galaxy Quest” and “Back to the Future.”

Great science facts from some of our favorite science screen gems will all boiled down by the men and women who study them everyday.
