On any normal weekday , you’d expect to see a group of downtown Chicago lawyers to be in their offices. But today, they locked up, put down their cell phones and lost the suits for hard labor.

In the cold dreary weather more than two dozen attorney’s and personnel joined in wrapping up phase two of the DuPage Habitat for Humanity’s Prairie Green development, a project which will ultimately equal new housing for 12 local families.

While the members of this law firm will be back to their grind tomorrow, the hard work today and all the other Habitat volunteers have made a difference in one family’s future.
