CHICAGO — The Busy Beaver Button Company is a business and a museum.
Christen carter started the company two decades ago in her college dorm. Today, 10,000 sit in her museum collection and her company cranks out three and a half million every year.
Busy Beaver is celebrating 20 years in Chicago. It is planning an expansion and a book about button history, all while churning out thousands of buttons a day – 30,000 a day to be exact. It is the sole button manufacturer in Chicago.
