CHICAGO --  All lanes of the Eisenhower Expressway are back open after a fatal crash early Friday morning.

The crash happened around 4:30 a.m. on the outbound lanes near Cicero. Officials say the Chevrolet Venture van was traveling at a high speed in the far left lane when the driver lost control, and the vehicle flipped and landed on its roof.

One woman in her mid-20s was killed after being ejected 20 to 30 feet from the vehicle. She was not the driver. Five other adults were transported in serious to critical condition to area hospitals. Officials say two males were transported to Mount Sinai and three females were transported to Stroger Hospital.

One fire department official told WGN that it appeared all victims had been drinking, but that has not been confirmed by police.
