Strangers from around the world are sharing their dog photos to brighten the days of an Arizona teenager who is fighting cancer.
According to KSAZ-TV, 16-year-old Anthony Lyons was diagnosed with acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia last summer.
The one thing that cheers Anthony up during his treatments is pet therapy. So, a family friend created the Facebook page Photo Doggies for Anthony for the days that he doesn’t have pet therapy. And the response has been overwhelming.
KSAZ reports that the page has nearly 300,000 posts from across the country and the world, including England and even troops stationed in Afghanistan.
Anthony says he’s likes the funny ones the best.
“We’ve loved every second of it and we’re so thankful to her and everyone else all over the country and world that has come and posted pictures to just brighten his days,” Anthony’s mom Kristen told KSAZ.
