There’s only one lab like it in the country, and it’s right here in Illinois.

Wheeling High School just unveiled it’s “nano” lab and Gov. Pat Quinn  was there. U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan toured the lab Thursday as well.

Teachers, students and science geeks loved what they saw.

There’s tons of equipment, including a microscope that can magnify images 45,000 times their original size.

The lab cost $450,000. Most of that was paid for with grant money.
