Duke beats Wisconsin, 68-63, to win NCAA men’s basketball title

INDIANAPOLIS — The Duke Blue Devils defeated the Wisconsin Badgers Monday night, 68-63, to win the NCAA men’s basketball national championship in Indianapolis.

Freshman Tyus Jones led the Blue Devils with 23 points, and Justise Winslow chipped in with 11.

Frank Kaminsky was the leading scorer for the Badgers with 21 points, but it wasn’t enough as Duke held on for the victory.

The title win marks Duke’s 5th men’s basketball championship. The school last won the title back in 2010.

Duke finishes the season at 35-4.
