NEW YORK — Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump hosted Saturday Night Live, despite protests.
He was heckled during his monologue by someone who called him a racist. But it turned out to be comedian Larry David, who returned to SNL to play Bernie Sanders again.

“I heard if I yelled that they’d give me $5,000,” David said to Trump.
Trump shrugged and said, “As a businessman, I can respect that.”
A Latino group had offered a $5,000 “bounty” to anyone in the show’s audience who yelled “Trump is a racist” during the broadcast.
Only eight politicians have ever hosted SNL, and only one of those was actively involved in a presidential bid at the time. It was Reverend Al Sharpton, back in 2003.
