Demonstrators from Milwaukee are being bussed to Chicago this morning to protest the decision not to charge a Milwaukee police officer in the shooting death of Dontre Hamilton.

The demonstrators are partnering with the Rainbow Push Coalition to call for a federal investigation into Hamilton’s death.

They play to rally at the Rainbow Push headquarters in Kenwood at 10 a.m.

Hamilton was shot to death while trying to rest in a public park in Milwaukee in April.  The officer, Christopher Manney, was fired.
