LOS ANGELES -- With the premier of "Furious 7" less than a week away, WGN-TV's Dean Richards sat down with Vin Diesel in Los Angeles.

Diesel got very emotional when Richards asked how he was coping with the death of his co-star and close friend Paul Walker.

Walker died in a car accident in November 2013 and his passing still weighs heavily on Diesel's mind almost two years later.

"My career is so blessed and it almost doesn't feel fair," an emotional Diesel said to Richards.

Walker does appear in the movie, as 'Furious 7' was in the middle of filming at the time of his death. His brother filled in to finish the film.

Last week, Diesel revealed that he named his third child, Pauline, in honor of Walker.

"Furious 7" hits theaters nationwide April 3.
