Lollapalooza 2016 lineup announced; single-day passes on sale today

CHICAGO — The official line-up for this year’s Lollapalooza has been announced.

Headliners include Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, LCD SoundSystem and J. Cole.

J.Cole will perform Thursday, opening night; Radiohead will perform Friday; Red Hot Chili Peppers to play on Saturday; and LCD Soundsystem will end the festival on Sunday.

Other performers scheduled are Lana Del Rey, Future, Jane’s Addiction and Ellie Goulding.


Four-day passes for Lollapalooza went on sale Tuesday at 10 a.m. but quickly sold out. But, V.I.P. and Platinum passes are still available.

The single-day passes go on sale today at 10 a.m. for $120.

The festival is in Chicago’s Grant Park from July 28 to July 31. Organizers added a fourth day this year to mark the anniversary. There will be more than 170 musical performances.
