CHICAGO — The first full week of September features a number of new home video releases, including a new horror show getting ready to debut on Apple TV+.

“The Changeling,” which is based on a book by Victor LaValle, is set to be released on Friday with the first three episodes appearing on the streaming service.

That is just one of a few new programs that are set to debut this week and is featured on this edition of “Dean’s Home Video” that aired on WGN Morning News on Wednesday.

Dean Richards took a look at “The Changeling” along with other releases like season five of “Virgin River,” season 2 of “Wheel of Time,” season 4 of “Star Trek: Lower Decks,” “Sitting in Bars with Cake,” “Predators,” and more.
