CHICAGO — Author Bill Zehme was the last person to ever interview Johnny Carson and wrote best-selling biographies on Frank Sinatra and Andy Kaufman, in addition to writing stellar magazine pieces for Rolling Stone, Playboy and Vanity Fair, to name just a few. But on De. 13, 2013, a call came saying he had stage IV colo-rectal cancer. That was three years ago, and Bill is doing better. He joined WGN Morning News to discuss his feature story from the January edition of Chicago Magazine, “Can Chicago cure cancer?”
