CHICAGO -- Shortly after the Chicago Cubs clinched the National League Central Division title Thursday night, the team released a new promotional video to pump their fans up for the postseason.

The Cubs became the NL Central champions when the St. Louis Cardinals lost in San Francisco. They had a chance to clinch it in front of their fans at Wrigley Field Thursday night, but lost to the Brewers.

The 30-second hype video, released by the Cubs early Friday morning, captures loyal fans wearing and waving the team's signature "W."

The video starts off with the voice of an unknown man explaining the importance of the "W" flag: "It's the fabric that brings an entire nation together. It says to the world, we will never lose faith. We believe in this team."

The video goes on capturing Cubs fans of different ages and genders united in support of their favorite baseball team.

In a surprise twist, the man narrating the video is revealed as Cubs' Kyle Schwarber.

Schwarber ends the video by saying, "Maybe this October, if we fly it high enough and loud enough and proud enough. Well, you get the idea."
