The Chicago Cubs and their fans are pitching to help victims of Sunday’s tornadoes.

The team and Cubs fans are donating non-perishable foods and supplies to the cause.

Organizers with Chicago Cubs Charities say they’re looking mostly for tote bags, storage bins and plastic trash bags.

Donors can drop off goods until 6p.m. Thursday, or Friday from 8 until 11 a.m. at Wrigley Field’s purple lot, between Waveland and Clark.

Trucks of items will be driven to Peoria Friday afternoon.
