CHICAGO -- Two people are in custody after a police pursuit ended in a crash on a Chicago expressway this afternoon.  At least three people were taken to the hospital including a pregnant woman who was ejected from a car.

A suspect in a string of carjackings was a passenger in the Cadillac.  He was spotted by an unmarked Chicago police car which started pursuing him on the inbound Eisenhower Expressway.  Police say he was possibly armed and considered him dangerous.

The Cadillac hit a car at Sacramento and then three others.  It crashed at Ashland and flipped over.

One suspect was arrested on the scene.

A second suspect was reportedly taken into custody by U.S. marshals near the old Cook County hospital nearby.

A 3-year-old boy in one of the cars suffered minor injuries.

Traffic delays were reported in the area.
