A train conductor from Kenosha thought he hit something with his car on his way to work last week, but he didn’t see anything … so, he kept going.
It wasn’t until he got to the Waukegan train station that he realized a coyote was stuck in the grill of his SUV.
According to the Sun-Times, animal control helped him get the coyote out.
The officer put the coyote in a cage and drove it to the Flint Creek Wildlife Rehabilitation in Barrington. It had three fractures in its legs. The center is hoping to release the coyote into the wild after the winter.
