The Cowardly Lion is going to a new home.

The original lion costume from “The Wizard of Oz”  sold at an auction in New York city for a little more than $3-million.

That’s much more than the secondary outfit, which was bought recently for close to a million bucks.

The outfit was originally worn by Bert Lehr in the 1939 classic film.

It features a sculpted facial likeness of the actor.

It belonged to a memorabilia collector, who plans to use the money to exhibit his vast collection, which includes items from “I Love Lucy” and “Lost.”
