CHICAGO — With the rise of COVID-19, there are thousands of websites that have bogus information such as conspiracy theories, unsubstantiated claims and phony cures.

Jim Warren, an editor with NewsGuard, which rates the credibility of news and information websites, weighs in and tries to weed out misinformation.
