CHICAGO — After a visit to the region scheduled for September 29 was canceled, President Joe Biden is slated to visit the Chicago area on Thursday, October 7, where he is expected to tout the importance of getting vaccinated against COVID-19.

Further details of Biden’s visit are currently unknown, but the President was scheduled to speak in Elk Grove Village during the initial trip that was postponed.
