Congressman Schock may run for governor

He got elected to a school board at 19, to the statehouse at 22 and to congress at 26, now Peoria Republican Aaron Schock is eyeing the governor’s mansion.
Networking in Chicago today, the 31-year-old congressman said he’s considering a run for governor.
He said the state is in a world of hurt and he dissed other potential GOPcandidates as old horses trotted out every four years.
One shadow over his prospects, a House ethics committee is investigating his campaign financing.
He says he’s confident that he did nothing wrong and suggests he’ll decide about the governor’s race within six months.
