Community concerned after possible coyote attack on boy

Concerns about coyote attacks drew a crowd to a community meeting on the West Side.

Animal control officials urged people not to feed animals or litter Wednesday night, and to keep garbage lids on tight.

A 3-year-old boy was bit on the face last month near Columbus Park, possibly by a coyote.

He is fine, but will need plastic surgery.

Four coyotes were captured near the park and euthanized.
