It’s time for those Chicagoans who claim dibs on a parking spot during the snowy winter to get their stuff off the street.

Those beat-up lawn chairs, milk crates and other items used by so many Chicagoans to claim shoveled out parking spots will become garbage come today, when Department of Streets and Sanitation crews plan to start clearing any lingering dibs markers from city streets.

The removal is scheduled to begin today and will continue for the remainder of the winter.
