Churches to honor Cardinal George at Sunday Services

CHICAGO -- Catholic churches in the Chicago area will include a special prayer for Francis Cardinal George today, at the first Sunday services since his passing.

Cardinal George died Friday morning after a long struggle with cancer.

The Archdiocese of Chicago has been working through the weekend to prepare for his funeral.

There will be three days of services, starting with a public visitation at Holy Name Cathedral on Tuesday and Wednesday. His funeral on Thursday will be private.

Cardinal George will be buried next to his parents at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
