The violent death of Christina Grimmie has left her supporters in mourning.

Celebrities immediately took to Twitter after learning that the 22-year-old Season 6 finalist on “The Voice” was shot and killed Friday during a fan meet-and-greet.

Right after news of the shooting circulated, Blake Shelton, a coach on “The Voice,” tweeted that he was “praying” for Grimmie.

“I’m sad, shocked and confused,” wrote Adam Levine in an Instagram photo of he and Grimmie posted overnight.

Demi Lovato posted a heartfelt tweet: “#RIPChristina my thoughts and prayers are with her loved ones..”

Christina Aguilera, a judge on ‘The Voice,’ expressed her sadness over the news, “So sad passing of @TheRealGrimmie. Beautiful member of #TheVoice family & true #Fighter. My heart goes out to her family, friends & fans. xo.”

Grammy-nominated singer Tori Kelly wrote: “i have no words. rip christina see you again, love. isaiah 25:8.”

“So sad right now,” Colton Hayes tweeted. “What an incredible talent that won’t be forgotten,” he continued.

Grimmie performed at the Plaza Live Theater in Orlando, Florida, and was headed to meet fans alongside the punk band Before You Exit, when a man shot her. Grimmie’s brother tackled the gunman seconds before he turned the gun on himself.

Grimmie was a contestant on Levine’s team on “The Voice” in 2014 and placed third. She had a massive social media following with more than three million YouTube subscribers. Donations are being collected through a gofundme account started by Grimmie’s management, according to the page.
