CHICAGO — A woman was shot inside a South Side apartment late Monday night.
Police said a 28-year-old woman was inside a 11th floor apartment, in the 200 block of 42nd Street, with several other people when shots were fired.
The woman was struck in the head and transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition.
No one is in custody.
