CHICAGO — A 31-year-old woman was found fatally shot in the city’s West Town neighborhood.
Police officers were responding to calls of a person shot around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 1500 block of West Hubbard Street, and discovered a woman with a gunshot wound to the head.
She was pronounced dead on the scene, according to police. The medical examiner has identified the woman Brittany Wooten.
No one is in custody. Area Three detectives are investigating.
