CHICAGO A 37-year-old woman was injured in a shooting in the city’s Humboldt Park neighborhood Saturday night, according to police.

Police said the woman was walking outside in the 3300 block of West North Avenue just after 6:10 p.m. when she heard several shots fired and felt pain.

The woman was struck once in the mid-back and was transported to Stroger Hospital in stable condition. She was later pronounced dead.

There is no one in custody and the shooting is under investigation.
