CHICAGO — Four people were shot Wednesday evening at an apartment complex at Parkway Gardens in Chicago, police said.
Police said four people were hit by gunfire from an unknown offender around 6:17 p.m. in the 6300 block of South Calumet Avenue.
According to police, all four people are males, ages 16, 22, 39 and 42.
The 16-year-old was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where he is in critical condition after being shot in the chest.
The 22-year-old suffered a graze wound to the leg, while the 39-year-old was shot in the thigh, and the 42-year-old was shot in the calf. All three self-transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center where they are all reportedly in good condition.
No one is in custody. The incident is under investigation by Area 1 Detectives.
